Diapers are the best option of keeping your baby clean and dry. But diapers lead to painful rash on the baby’s bottom.
At these times one doubts the efficacy of diapers and plans to resort to cloth napkins. But the disadvantage of cloth napkins is that one has to change them continously everytime the child urinates and also sometimes the Mother never knows when the child urinates and the child remains in the wet napkin for long. This way the child is prone to catch a cold.
Diapers on the other hand do not have to be changed often, and rashes can be effectively dealt with the following herbal remedies.
Plantain Leaves: Fresh plantain leaves should be crushed and placed on the baby’s diaper, this way the baby will not suffer from rashes
Chamomile Tea: Place two three tea bags of chamomile tea on the diaper for some time. The herbal properties help reduce inflammation and irritation on the baby’s skin.
Oat Meal: Mix some oatmeal in the baby’s bathing water and bathe the baby. The rashes will quickly disappear.
Vegetable Oil: After a diaper change, apply vegetable oil on the baby’s bottom. Painful boils and rashes come to an end.
Fenugreek: Powdered fenugreek can be applied on the rashes. It helps greatly .
These remedies are very effective and are resorted to by many Mothers. Using diapers is no longer a problem then.
