Herb vinegars are easy to make and store. However, there are certain points one need to keep in mind before resorting to make one.
- Wash the jars in which you would be storing the vinegar a day before itself and let them dry over night.
- Next morning, before the sun raises pluck out the leaves of the herb and wash it lightly.
- Add the necessary combinations of herbs in the jar until three fourth of the jar is filled. Now add vinegar to the combination, let there be a one-inch gap between the jar and the concentrated mixture.
- Always place a plastic wrap on the opening and then cover the jar in which vinegar will be stored.
- Shake the jars everyday so as to get strong concentrated vinegar.
- Store the mixture in a dark pace for about two weeks.
- After which, strain the vinegar, add some sprigs of your favorite herb, cork it and store it away from strong light.
- Label the bottle and store the bottle away for a year.
After which you can relish the tasty vinegar. Also, you can gift it to your relatives and friends.
