Herbs Offer Better Treatment for Menstrual Cramps

Till recent it is acupuncture and heat compression that are believed to be highly effective treatment options for relieving menstrual cramps. But, a recent research study says that Chinese herbs can be a much better option for treating menstrual camps.

More than 50% of women who are in their reproductive age and 60-85% of teen girls in US suffer from menstrual cramps. In fact this is the major reason from the absence of girls from school and work. Though still the exact reasons for the menstrual cramps are not clear, it is believed that it is due to ovarian hormonal imbalance.
