Herbs enhance and add to the food’s natural flavors sans any calories. They are used either fresh or dried for a concentrated effect. In some recipes, they are grounded or minced to add to a meal immediately for a strong flavor.

Today, Herbs have become an inevitable part of culinary arts. No food is complete without a herb that gives it its due exotic taste and aromatic flavor.

To grow herbs indoors, you can either buy few gardening pots or do with any spare containers at your home. Before putting soil to your container, you might want to layer the bottom of your pot with gravel. This can ensure suitable drainage. Now, for soil preparation, you can mix potting soil with sand and lime. You can now place your pot near a skylight or a window. This might ensure that your indoor herbs get moderate amount of sunlight needed for its growth.
